I do not know the custom regarding this secret santa activity... Shall the gifts be delivered to my home? Am I supposed to meet you somewhere?

I'm afraid I don't know the custom all that well either, this is my first time ever doing it. But if you would like, you're welcome to come by to Sweetie Pies.

Yes... my kingdom does not celebrate Christmas, you see. However, I wanted to immerse myself in another country's culture, which was why I joined the secret Santa.

[ a quick pause-- ] And it is a pleasure, as well. In my country, we say it in this manner... Hap'piraki, Snow White.

Well, the way we celebrate Christmas in Germany is a bit different than what I'm used to here, but I always love learning new things!

Hap'piraki? Oh what a nice way to say it! It even sounds like you're saying "Happy" right in the word! Well, Hap'piraki to you, Rayfa.

Yes... there is not much on my plate at the moment. Would you be so kind as to give me directions?

[Snow White does just that to the little bakery with a hopeful "I'll see you soon!" followed at the end.]

[ rayfa wastes no time. she immediately puts on her cloak and heads off to the bakery. it takes her about twenty minutes to get there as she gets lost on the way -- she's not so used to going around in the streets by herself -- but she makes it. ]

Is a woman named Snow White in this establishment?

[One of Snow White's employees or "Sweetie Pies" as she calls them, goes to get her from the kitchen and she has a bit of flour on her cheek and is wiping her hands on her apron.]

Yes, hello? I'm Snow White...

OH! Rayfa dear, hello, yes please come in.

[ she bows her head and presses her palms together. ]

Hap'piraki. [ then she walks in, towards where snow white is. ] It is a pleasure to meet you.

Hap'piraki to you as well! [She giggles, still very fond of the word.]

Come right this way! Are you hungry? Would you like something to eat?

[ is food her present? she doesn't mind, it would be nice to try her cooking, considering how friendly she is. ]

What is it that you have to offer?

[Food is not the present, but it would be rude not to offer.]

Oh my, well, I suppose that depends on what you like. We make practically every sort of treat and goodie. [Unless it has apples.] What is you favorite sweet to eat from home?

There are sweet buns in Khura'in called Magatah'mans. They are shaped like my necklace, which is a Magatama. Inside the bun is a sweet filling of your choice, such as red beans, or perhaps even chocolate.

Hmm, sounds a bit like a dumpling where I'm from! I have a few sweet dumplings! Would you like to try that?

It would be rude of me to decline such an invitation.

[She gestured for Rayfa to sit on one of the stools.]

Have a seat! I'll grab you a sweet bun while I grab your gifts!

[ ah, great!! rayfa takes a seat, her feet likely swinging once she's seated because she can't reach the floor. she wonders what kind of sweet bun snow white has in this shop. she's always very excited to eat foreign kinds of food. ]

[Snow White goes to get the food and comes back with a wrapped gift. Inside, Snow White made Rayfa a dress as well as matching ribbons and headbands. She sets the food down and then the gift.]

There we are! I didn't know your size so if it's a bit big, please let me know, I'll be more than happy to fix it.

[ ah... there's the temptation of opening the gift right now. there's also the smell of good food that she wants to try, too. ]

Then, may I fit the dress later on? I wish to try your food, first.

Whatever you like, they're your gifts after all! Now, before you eat, are your hands nice and clean?

I washed my hands prior to coming here.

What a good girl you are, Rayfa! [Snow seriously has issues with cleanliness. She hands Rayfa a knife and fork as well as a napkin.] We wouldn't want your pretty outfit getting dirty, to be sure!

[ she looks down upon taking the utensils and napkin. her face has gone a bit red. ]

... I will proceed to eat the food you have prepared, now.

[Snow White nods, trying not to make this awkward by watching even though she does want to know how it tastes. Still, it would be rude.]

You eat up and I'm going to go get some things ready for tomorrow in the bakery. I won't be far. [She gestured to the corner of cookie trays which, admittedly, did need to be prepped for the next day.]
